About Jennah Hart

Jennah Hart is a British abstract painter who graduated from Arts University Bournemouth in 2022 with First Class Honours in Fine Art. Guided by repetitive, instinctive gestures, her practice is grounded in intuition and tactility, while remaining open to chance.

Reworking each painting over extended periods of time, Hart’s surfaces accumulate histories. The works function as sites of sedimentation, engaging with memory as something unstable and continually in flux.

Responding to a broader sense of dislocation within a culture shaped by acceleration and uncertainty, her work offers a quieter, slower register of experience. Light, colour, and texture operate affectively, evoking atmosphere rather than image.

Existing in a space where memory is neither fully accessible nor entirely lost, the paintings invite viewers to pause and reconnect with their own internal landscapes.
